Russian by birth, American by music: Svetlana is an acclaimed New York-based vocalist, composer, band leader, and educator. She makes her Berkshires debut with her hot swing quintet, the Delancey Five. Her sound blends swing, straight-ahead jazz and original material, forging deep connections with audiences with her strong vocals, charismatic performance style, exciting improvisational aspects of performance, and engaging storytelling.
The performance will include material from her latest record, “Night at the Movies”, which debuted #1 on U.S. Billboard Traditional Jazz Album Charts in 2019. Both that album and her “Night at the Speakeasy” have been widely played on jazz radio and were among the “top of the year” critic's lists.
Svetlana has performed professionally since 2011 and has toured with her various bands nationally and internationally since 2017, headlining hundreds of sold out shows in in the U.S. and abroad.

This program takes place outdoors at the re-opened and refurbished Gateways Inn in downtown Lenox, in the heart of the Berkshires. A limited number of seats will be available under a tent. Feel free to bring your own blanket or chairs for the lawn. Tickets are $30 in advance, $35 on the day of the event.
